Be sure to purchase the correct size filter for your coffee pot! Some coffee pots use basket filters and some use a #4.
Consumables/Owner Closet
Creamer
Package of 50

I prefer to buy CoffeeMate singles because they tend to be dairy free. As someone who is lactose intolterant, I always appreciate when the creamer provided for my coffee is lactose-free!

Consumables/Owner Closet

You can never have too many trash bags. If you find them on sale or at a good price, stock up!

Consumables/Owner Closet
Mini Dish Soap
10 7 oz. bottles
We buy the 7 oz. size and leave them under the sink, along with a clean sponge for our guests. The mini bottles last quite a while as most people do not hand wash their dishes.
Consumables/Owner Closet
Extra Batteries for Remotes
Be sure to buy the right size! Check your remote lock and security camera for battery size, as well!
Consumables/Owner Closet
Spare Lightbulbs
Check the type of lightbulbs you have around the cabin, and stock up. We keep a couple of lightbulbs for the bathroom and kitchen lights in our guest closet in case one goes out when the guest is there. This way we don't need to call the handyman to change it out.
Consumables/Owner Closet
Aluminum Foil
I've debated about leaving this out for guests. Aluminum foil is expensive. We use it to line the tray in our grill. Right now we are keeping it in the owner's closet.
Living Room
Pool table, shuffle board table, video arcade
These are all nice add-on amenities for larger cabins. Keep in mind, guests will ruin the lining on your pool table, break your sticks, sprinkle the shuffleboard sand in your cabin, and generally do a lot of wear and tear on these items, ; so you will have upkeep costs associated with these!I don't have a link attached here because I suggest looking on FB marketplace for resales!
Living Room
Board games, cards, dice, dominos
Stock up on games for your guests to play. On bad-weather days, they'll appreciate them! Our favorites are Monopoly, CodeNames, Cards Against Humanity, Jenga and Apples to Apples
Living Room
Blue tooth Sound bar
Don't spend a lot of money on your sound bar, as it may tend to walk off, if you know what I mean.
Living Room
Basket for Sofabed linens
If you have a sofa bed, you'll want to leave the linens in a basket next to the sofa so that guest can make the bed with clean sheets
Living Room
Shoe bench
If you don' t have a built in mudroom area, create one with a shoe bend and some hooks. Guests will have back packs, beach bags, hiking boots, sneakers, etc. Give them a neat place to keep them out of the way. Here's a picture of our front entry: https://photos.app.goo.gl/guk5fr4L3vuvokrRA
Living Room
Basket for local brochures and magazines
Go to the Oklahoma Dept. of Tourism site and order magazines for the area. (link below) Also pick up brochures when your're in Broken Bow at the various localities. Have them in a basket in the living room for your guests to browse through! https://tinyurl.com/y4nh88ko
Bedrooms
Duvet Cover
1 per bed
How you decorate your beds is personal preference. Keep in mind though, you want to have bed coverings that can be washed in your washing machine, that will last and that are comfortable. Do not purchase an expensive comforter or duvet - they will get gross and will not last long. I like this brand of coverings because they are washable and durable. The solid colors make them neutral so you can decorate the bed with cute pillows to "fancy" it up.
Bedrooms
Blanket
2 per bedroom
Be sure to have lots of blankets in the cabin. Have a few lightweight ones, as well as heavy ones for the beds in winter. I also have a basket of throw blankets near the back door to bring outside while at the firepit.

I think HomeGoods has the best blankets and the best prices! Amazon has some good ones too. Blankets go on major sale right around Thanksgiving, so you may want to wait to stock up!
Bedrooms
Blanket Basket
I usually fold one blanket and have it at the end of the bed. I keep our other blankets in a guest closet. If you don't have a place to store your extra blankets, get a nice sized Blanket Basket.
Bedrooms
Pillows
4 per bed (2 to sleep on and 2 for the pillow shams)
There is nothing worse than sleeping on a cheapy pillow, in my opinion. Be sure to get a couple soft and a couple firm for each bed.
Bedrooms
King Sheets
2-3 per bed
I LOVE this brand of sheets. I ended up buying them for my own home. They are soft and keep me cool. I prefer WHITE sheets and towels because you can bleach them if they get stains (and they will!).
Bedrooms

Don't skip on the mattress protector! I like this brand because it zips around the whole mattress and also serves a a bed bug protector. I do also suggest reaching out to 4 Way Pest Control for preventative bed bug treatment.
Bedrooms
Full-length mirror
It's nice to have at least one of these in your cabin so everyone can check themselves before heading out!
Bedrooms
Luggage rack
1 per bedroom
Many cabins choose to skip out on a dresser (guests tend to forget their things in them). If you don't have a dresser, be sure to at least have a luggage rack so the guests have somewhere to put their suitcase.

1 per night stand/end table
Guests will appreciate you having an this power strip next to your beds (and in your living rooms so that they can charge their devices without having to unplug anything else.
Bedrooms
Trash Cans
1 per night stand, 1 next to bathroom sinks, 1 next to each toiIet
Have a small trash can next to each side of the bed.
Bedrooms
Hangers
If you have a closet for guests, provide them some hangers. You may even want to have a hanging sweater holder, since they're more likely to have folded clothing than hanging
Bedrooms
Laundry basket
You can go simple or trendy with laundry baskets. Guests will really appreciate having these for longer stays!
Outside/Misc
Cabin sign
I got a custom alumunimum sign 18 x 24", and then a 6 x 24" topper I got the colonial black post (very easy to install!) Check Rakuten for coupons! They have them often
Outside/Misc
Guest gift
I have custom-made wine glasses made for my guests, and I leave a note thanking them for staying in the cabin. The note reminds them to take the glasses. You can leave coozies, water bottles, S'mores kits, bags, whatever you choose. Guests love the extra touch. Here's a picture of my glasses: https://photos.app.goo.gl/9qe4pf9w2qJYcP6C8
Outside/Misc
SmartDoor Lock
Get an Internet lock for your front door! It will give you peace of mind to know you can lock and unlock your door from afar!We use the Smart Door lock in conjunction with an app called Remote Lock (see the Technology tab). It's integrated with OwnerRez so when someone books, it automatically assigns them a keycode and programs it in for you.)
Outside/Misc

For your owner's closets, you don't really need an expensive internet lock. This Kwikset power bolt is sufficient

Security camera
If you want your cameras monitored, I suggest you reach out to Jason Ricketts. He will install his own cameras and monitor them for you for a nominal price. We use these Blink cameras and monitor ourselves.
Outside/Misc
Wifi Thermostat
You may want to install thermostats you can control from home. Guests are notorious for setting the air super low in the summer and cranking the heat in winter. This will allow you to control the temps when guests are not in the cabin, saving on your electric bill.
Outside/Misc
Adirondack Chairs
I personally prefer the Polywood-type chairs over the wood. I feel they hold up well and are more comfortable, but it really is a matter of personal preference
Outside/Misc
Guest book
I never thought I'd get compliments on my guest book, but I do all the time! And, this one is so well priced and really beautiful! Here's a picture of my guest book: https://photos.app.goo.gl/iPbAXbfmYf2XrEQP7
Outside/Misc
Door mats
Get a welcoming doormat for the front door. It's the FIRST impression on the guests! I really like the layered look that is in right now. Make sure to have doormats at every door. Guests come in and out all day and night and it really helps cut down on tracking in the dirt.
Outside/Misc
Ladder golf cornhole, outdoor games
If your cabin caters to couples, you really only need a couple of outside games like maybe cornhole or horseshoes. Bigger cabins, consider even having kids playsets
Outside/Misc
Containers for owners closet
You will be amazed how quickly your owner's closet fills up. Be sure to keep in organized so that you can do an inventory count on your visits. I suggest taping a supply list inside the closet. Also, tape pictures of your room set ups on the inside of the door so that you cleaners can easily check their work. If you're just building your cabin, ask your builder to make you at least TWO large owner's closets! You'll need them! Here are pictures of my owner closets: https://photos.app.goo.gl/XcKY9a1uwx9d3fnx7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/4RE9Nmf7FoVk5D8z6
