Blanket

Be sure to have lots of blankets in the cabin. Have a few lightweight ones, as well as heavy ones for the beds in winter. I also have a basket of throw blankets near the back door to bring outside while at the firepit.

I think HomeGoods has the best blankets and the best prices! Amazon has some good ones too. Blankets go on major sale right around Thanksgiving, so you may want to wait to stock up!

Full Sheets

I LOVE this brand of sheets. I ended up buying them for my own home. They are soft and keep me cool. I prefer WHITE sheets and towels because you can bleach them if they get stains (and they will!).

Mattress protector

Don't skip on the mattress protector! I like this brand because it zips around the whole mattress and also serves a a bed bug protector. I do also suggest reaching out to 4 Way Pest Control for preventative bed bug treatment.

Blanket Basket

I usually fold one blanket and have it at the end of the bed. I keep our other blankets in a guest closet. If you don't have a place to store your extra blankets, get a nice sized Blanket Basket.

Duvet Cover

How you decorate your beds is personal preference. Keep in mind though, you want to have bed coverings that can be washed in your washing machine, that will last and that are comfortable. Do not purchase an expensive comforter or duvet - they will get gross and will not last long. I like this brand of coverings because they are washable and durable. The solid colors make them neutral so you can decorate the bed with cute pillows to "fancy" it up.

Hangers

If you have a closet for guests, provide them some hangers. You may even want to have a hanging sweater holder, since they're more likely to have folded clothing than hanging

Luggage rack

Many cabins choose to skip out on a dresser (guests tend to forget their things in them). If you don't have a dresser, be sure to at least have a luggage rack so the guests have somewhere to put their suitcase.
